This camp is tailored to children aged 7 to 12 who love horses but have never ridden or have very little riding experience. Each day will be split between riding and non-riding activities. Our experienced instructors will focus on balance, coordination, safety and fun during daily private riding lessons for each camper. Non-mounted horsemanship classes will include such topics as the care and grooming of the horse (with hands-on grooming opportunities), colors and markings of the horse, types of tack, etc. At least one craft project will be provided during the session. |
Participants are required to wear helmets when mounted. Helmets will be available for rental at the camp. Participants also must wear long pants, a shirt with sleeves and closed-toe shoes. Shorts, sleeveless tops and sandals or flip-flops are not allowed. |
| Morning break: |

There will be a midmorning break each day of the camp. Participants are encouraged to bring a snack and something to drink during the break. There is a drink machine where participants may purchase a drink.![]() pink rules... |
