When Whitehaven first opened its doors, we purchased and were given a number of Arabian geldings who soon became the Lucas family's loyal friends. They were always up for a trail ride, no matter the rider's ability (or lack thereof), and some even took part in Civil War reenactments and taught riding lessons. Although now retired, they will always have a home at Whitehaven.
