Whitehaven is pleased to announce our riding program geared toward producing the well rounded rider. We offer lessons for multiple skill-levels, both mounted and unmounted, as well

Levels Offered
Mini-Mites - (ages 3-7)
Novices - are beginners ages 8 through Adult
Trotters - are riders who have mastered trotting off of the lunge line
Basic Horseman - are riders who have mastered the trot and are starting to canter and work over poles & small jumps
Advanced Horseman - have mastered the walk/trot/canter and are starting to jump small courses and/or learn dressage
Horsemasters - are advanced riders who are competent at the walk/trot/canter and are working to master more advanced jumping and/or dressage.

TRAC Lesson Prices - on TRAC School Horses
Mini Mites - $30/lesson package; of 10 lessons $275 (paid in full 1st lesson)
 
Regular Lessons - $35/lesson; package of 10 lessons $325 (paid in full 1st lesson)

Monthly Horse Lease
Partial Lease (3 days/week, including lesson day) $150 + ½ farrier bill

Full Lease (6 days/week, including lesson day) $350 + farrier & routine vet

Birthday Parties
$12/child ages 3 and over (only $10/child if birthday child is a TRAC student)
Children participate in free pony rides and
“Paint-A-Pony.” Parents have full use of the Whitehaven reception area for 1 ½ hours following pony rides for cake, presents, etc.,

Trisha Dingle - Trainer/Advanced Instructor TRISHA has competed through the CCN* level of three-day eventing, 2nd level dressage, and at rated hunter/jumper shows, including the prestigious Hampton Classic. She currently competes Arabians & Half-Arabians in endurance, dressage, and sport horse, with wins all the way to the National level.

As a young rider, TRISHA trained with Olympic veterans Jim Wofford and Captain Mark Phillips (chef d’equip of the US Olympic Eventing team), Advanced level event riders Suzi Gornall & Jon Laforce, and Grand Prix dressage riders Vicki Hammers-O’Neill and Pam Lifton. As an up and coming trainer, she worked for Grand Prix show jumper Aaron Vale, and currently trains with FEI level dressage rider Jill Allard.

$40 for 45-minutes private lessons (at Whitehaven)

JENNIFER is a product of the Whitehaven working student program. She began by taking riding lessons at the farm, then becoming a working student/intern and finally employee before attending Meredith Manor. We are excited to have her back as our beginner/intermediate riding instructor – in addition to teaching she will be coordinating our summer camps, our new 4-H program, our new interscholastic team, and a handful of other equestrian related programs.
